Things are CHANGING with the Magic Kingdom fireworks and you need to know about it.
Happily Ever After is back and we know that some specialty fireworks shows are on their way for Halloween and Christmas. But now we’re focusing on some adjustments that will be made to the Magic Kingdom fireworks showtimes in the coming months which could impact your plans.
Happily Ever After showtimes are CHANGING in the coming weeks. Here’s what the upcoming schedule looks like. From now through August 8th, the show will be available at 9:20PM.
Then, on August 9th, the showtimes change to 9PM. That showtime continues through part of September.
On September 18th, however, Happily Ever After’s showtime changes AGAIN — this time to 8:30PM. That’s the showtime that continues to be listed on the calendar for as far out as it goes at this moment, which is September 30th.
Aside from the changing showtimes, there’s another important thing to keep in mind during these next few months. Happily Ever After is NOT shown on the evenings when Magic Kingdom hosts Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
On Halloween Party nights (which are offered on select dates between August and November — you can see the full list here) Magic Kingdom will CLOSE at 6PM for regular guests and the Halloween Party then begins at 7PM.
During the Halloween Party, those who have tickets for the event will get to see an exclusive Halloween-themed fireworks show called Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Spooktacular! It will take place nightly at 10:15PM.
So those are your critical Magic Kingdom fireworks updates. Be sure to keep these changes in mind as you start to plan your trips for the next few months.
Note also that Halloween decor has already started to arrive in Magic Kingdom, but the park will be more fully decorated from August 10th through November 1st.
