Spring is here, and there are a lot of changes in Disney World. We have EPCOT’s International Flower and Garden Festival happening, rides going down for refurbishment, and more. There is also a change coming to the nightly fireworks at Magic Kingdom. If going to watch Happily Ever After is on your Disney World itinerary, read this before heading to the castle.

If you tear up during Happily Ever After while standing on Main Street, U.S.A, you’re not alone. I’ve been going to Disney World for decades, and for me, watching the fireworks is truly something special that I look forward to with every trip. That’s why, when I started adding this one thing to my Disney trips, I don’t regret it.

There are all the decorations to check out, holiday merchandise to shop, special snacks to try, and as a reminder, we know when guests can see the iconic Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, even if they don’t have a party ticket!
Disney has officially confirmed that the Fantasy in the Sky fireworks show will take place at Magic Kingdom on both December 30th and 31st.

This special fireworks show only takes place two nights a year and is a great way to ring in the New Year at Disney World! While we were expecting Fantasy in the Sky to occur on both nights (as it typically does every year), Disney has officially updated the Magic Kingdom calendar to include the fireworks show and its times.
