We’re just a few days away from one of the biggest Disney events of the year!
The 2023 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is kicking off on July 27th, and you know that we’ll be there to cover ALL the new eats and drinks, as well as the entertainment, activities, and merchandise. But we just can’t wait — so today we stopped by EPCOT to see how the park is getting prepped for the big fest!
When we visited EPCOT, the first thing we noticed is that the new Food & Wine Festival display had been put up by the park entrance! It draws your eye as soon as you walk into the park.
This year’s sign is made to look like a scoop of melting ice cream on top of a large slice of cake. (Anyone else hungry?!) There are a few wind vane-like structures around the centerpiece as well. And of course, Remy from Ratatouille is center stage.
We also spotted festival banners going up around the World Showcase. There are a couple different designs, but they’re pretty similar to past years’.
Many of them feature characters from Ratatouille, which makes sense since Remy is often considered to be the mascot of this festival. They also have the festival logo and the date, as well as the sponsor — Corkcicle.
And speaking of Corkcicle — we spotted a banner with the company’s logo near the location of Shimmering Sips. That booth has been sponsored by Corkcicle for the past few years.
A few photo ops were also ready to go in World Showcase Plaza. We can’t wait to see all the decorations when the festival officially starts!
We’re ready to try out all the delicious new food and beverage options, and we’ll make sure to take you along with us the entire time. Stay tuned to DFB for more updates on Food & Wine at EPCOT!
