The holiday season in Disneyland means a festival with lots of food booths, decorations all over the park, and of course lots of great treats and snacks!

We’re heading into Disneyland Park today to try out 2 new treats and see which is worth your time, money, and stomach space. Come along with us to Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor!

Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor is located on Main Street, U.S.A., so it’s the perfect spot to grab a quick treat while you take in all the holiday decor. But which treat should you choose? There are a couple of limited-time holiday options, and we’re starting with the Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich.

This treat is made with 2 oatmeal raisin cookies, which are stuck together with cinnamon brown sugar ice cream, and the whole thing is rolled in chocolate and toffee pieces. You can get it for $6.99.

We loved this treat! The ice cream is one of the best flavors we’ve ever had here. Even the Cast Member said she hopes it becomes a staple option in the future. The cookies were also very soft, which meant the ice cream didn’t ooze out too much when we bit into the treat.

Overall, this was definitely a win in our opinion!

The next treat is the Peppermint Holiday Sundae for $8.49. This is made with 2 scoops of peppermint ice cream, topped with whipped cream, crushed peppermint, and chocolate creme cookies (Oreos), all in a white chocolate-covered waffle cone bowl.

This sundae is pretty simple. The ice cream didn’t have a very strong peppermint flavor. In fact, most of the mintiness came from the crushed peppermint on top.

The waffle bowl was VERY sweet with all of that white chocolate (and the added sprinkles), but it was balanced out when we ate it together with the ice cream and crushed mints. If you like subtle peppermint, this is a good option for you! And we think kids will especially love this cute treat.
