There are lots of good places to meet characters in Disney World. You can meet Mickey at Town Square Theater in Magic Kingdom, say hello to Anna and Elsa in the Norway pavilion of EPCOT‘s World Showcase, and watch lots of characters go by on floats on the Discovery River in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Hey, Mickey!
But there’s one lesser-known character spot that we think you REALLY need to know about!
While we were at Disney’s Hollywood Studios today, we spotted Chip and Dale hanging out in the grassy area near the Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant. You can often find characters chilling over here, and most of the time it’s either Chip and Dale or Donald and Daisy.

Donald and Daisy
Today, though, there was something new! Chip and Dale were showing off their latest Halloween decorations — they had carved pumpkins!

Look at his pumpkin!
They were carrying them around in a basket and showing the guests their creations.

Cute!
Then, they reenacted a spooky Disney movie scene for us. Dale put the picnic blanket over his head like the Old Hag in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and he offered an “apple” to Chip!

The DRAMA
Chip took the apple and bit into it (um, has he even SEEN Snow White? He should know better!) and promptly fell to the ground. What a performance!

Quite the show!
We love watching their interactions every day. If you’re a fan of Disney characters but don’t want to wait in a super long line to meet them, this is a good way to see them and even interact with them a little bit!
