There’s a NEW Event Coming to Wine Bar George in Disney Springs

Disney Springs is more than just a cute little place to shop. It’s actually home to some of the most knowledgeable, talented people in the food industry — we’re talking MASTER-level experts, people!

While we love a good old McDonald’s burger and fries like everyone else, there are some days when we feel like being fancy, classy, and full of wine. Luckily, we know just the place!

Over at Wine Bar George in Disney Springs, George Miliotes is one of 273 (!!!) Master Sommeliers in the world. If you don’t know what this means, it’s actually a pretty big deal. To become a Master Sommelier, one must know EVERYTHING about wine — down to the specific region where certain grapes grow best. They even have to pass a special test to earn the title of Master Sommelier. It’s a whole thing — really.

There’s George (of Wine Bar George!)

Now, this summer, George Miliotes is sharing his knowledge with YOU thanks to the Summer Wine Experience: Learn How to Taste Wine with a Master Sommelier. The event description reads, “Guests will learn to taste wine like a professional with a ‘blind’ tasting of six different wines. Hear firsthand from George about his journey through the wine world and what it takes to become a Master Sommelier.”

The experience is 90 minutes long and takes place on select afternoons in September. The experience includes cheese and charcuterie — YUM. Doors open at noon. If you’re interested, tickets are $110 each. The following dates are currently available:

September 5th
September 6th
September 18th
September 19th
September 25th
September 26th
