Oogie Boogie Bash is a very popular Halloween party that takes place at Disneyland Resort. Tickets for the event went on sale to the general public (after Magic Key Holder tickets sold out in the pre-sale), and it’s safe to say that things did NOT go well.

Parade Time!

Only a short time after we joined the queue, we got a notification informing us that ticket sales had been temporarily paused. But several hours after that update, Disney updated the page once again to inform us that the temporary pause will actually last MUCH longer than we expected.

Right now, the Oogie Boogie Bash ticket page is showing this notification:

The update states that “technical issues […] have impacted general ticket sales” for the event, and “new sales are paused while [Disney] works to address these issues.”

Here’s the extra disappointing part: We won’t be able to try to get tickets again until next week! Disney recommends that guests head to the Oogie Boogie Bash webpage on Thursday, July 6th, at 9AM PT where we might be able to find the date and time when new sales resume. Note that Disney doesn’t say that’s when ticket sales resume — it’s just when we could possibly learn the date when ticket sales will resume.

The notification goes on to say, “We commit to providing advance notice prior to activating new sales and strive to make the process as smooth as possible.” It also confirms that completed ticket purchases will be honored, so if you were able to get tickets before the sales were paused earlier today, then you’re all set.
