We have seen some interesting collaborations recently between Disney and other brands on items like sneakers, cars, and more! But now there’s a special collab happening that will give you a new way to celebrate Disney’s 100th Anniversary.

Snapchat and Disney are joining forces to celebrate the magical world of Disney in honor of Disney’s 100-year anniversary. Together, they’re unleashing an Augmented Reality (AR) extravaganza at the 2023 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity!

Snapchat’s AR tech meets the enchanting world of Disney in a way that can whisk you away into Disney tales. With their filters, you can go on an immersive adventure that will have you jet off into space with the Guardians of the Galaxy, dive deep into the awe-inspiring oceans of Pandora (yep, the one from Avatar: The Way of Water!), and hitch a ride through hyperspace on a desert planet straight out of The Mandalorian to name a few! You’ll also be able to meet some characters from Elemental and see a bit more from Disney’s upcoming Wish movie.

Those characters will come alive, right beside you, responding to your every move. Talk about an interactive experience! It might have you wondering if you somehow fell into the story yourself.

Jessica Intihar, the SVP of Digital Marketing at Walt Disney Studios, shared, “As Disney hits the incredible 100-year mark, we couldn’t be more psyched to partner with Snap and make this mind-blowing experience a reality at Cannes Lions.
