There are several different Disney World events that take place in the parks after they close for the night, including Extended Evening Hours for guests at Disney’s deluxe hotels, some holiday parties, and After Hours events. But there’s one very EXCLUSIVE event that’s coming up soon!

Disney Vacation Club Members can take advantage of Moonlight Magic events, which are unique After Hours parties just for the DVC. These events include complimentary snacks and drinks, special character interactions, low wait times for popular rides, and more. If you’re hoping to attend the Moonlight Magic event at Disney’s Animal Kingdom soon, you’ll need to set your alarm for tomorrow morning!
The Moonlight Magic events at Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be held on July 11th and August 2nd this year. Registration for the July 11th date is opening TOMORROW, June 21st. (Note that early registration for this event already opened on June 14th, so it’s likely that some spots have already filled up.)

Tree of Life
Don’t worry if you’re not able to attend the July 11th Moonlight Magic at Animal Kingdom — there’s another event on August 2nd, and registration for that one opens on July 19th.
Remember, registration is first come first serve. Be sure to act quickly to get the spots on your wish list. This event is FREE, but you must register to attend.

DVC Sign
Here are the steps to register:
- Visit Disney’s Moonlight Magic webpage and select “RSVP Online.” Be sure to have your Member number ready.
- You will enter a virtual waiting room, which secures your place in line. Do not refresh the page.
- When it’s your turn, you’ll be sent to the registration form to sign up for a night of Moonlight Magic!
Each DVC Member can register themself and up to four guests per Membership (for a total of five people), or they can register the complete number of guests on their hotel reservation (as long as that hotel reservation was finalized before June 11th). Kids younger than three years old do not need to be registered.

The DVC Member who registers must be in attendance and be the person who checks in their group at the event. When you check in, you’ll need your valid DVC digital membership card and a photo ID.
Note that only one event date for each participating park will be available per DVC membership, so you cannot attend multiple Moonlight Magic events at the same park.

- Attendees under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a participating parent or guardian.
- This is a rain-or-shine event; some experiences may be canceled due to inclement weather.
- Disney Genie+ service and Lightning Lane are not available for use during Moonlight Magic Events.
- Resort reservations must be made by the person listed as the “owner” on the Membership and can be booked with Points through Disney Vacation Club or with cash through the Disney Reservation Center or a travel provider.
