We’re about to enter a very busy month in Disney World!
Coming up in April we’ve got the opening of TRON Lightcycle / Run, the return of two old fireworks shows, and celebrations for Easter. Many of these big things are happening in Magic Kingdom, so the park has been pretty busy with preparations lately. What else is new in Magic Kingdom? Let’s dive in and find out!
Construction Updates
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Let’s start things out with some construction updates from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! The ride structure is mostly covered in scaffolding at this point, especially along the ride track.
We’ve seen construction workers out here frequently touching up the aesthetics of the ride. We can’t wait to see what it looks like when it’s complete!
Merchandise Updates
The Emporium
Starting out our merchandise roundup in Magic Kingdom’s biggest store, we spotted these Moana Minnie ears the other day. Aren’t they stunning?! They’re available for $34.99.
If you’re in need of a new tumbler to make drinking water fun (who isn’t?!), then check out this Peter Pan tumbler we spotted in the kitchen section. It has Tinker Bell on the straw! Get it for $24.99.
There’s also a new spirit jersey, inspired by Disney’s The Lion King. The beautiful new design has an African sunset on the back and can be purchased for $79.99.
If you have a fan of the Disney series Cars on the Road in your family, then you may want to hit up the toys section. There, we spotted this Lightning McQueen set for $16.99.
There’s also a Cars on the Road Ivy toy set for $16.99. Each set comes with interchangeable designs for the vehicles.
Hey there Stitch fans — we’ve got something just for you! This Stitch earrings set comes with six mix-and-match earrings for $24.99.
It’s not too often that we see merchandise with Roz on it, but we spotted her on this Monsters, Inc. pin set for $17.99.
Disney recently released a new Magic Kingdom collection by artist Joey Chou, and we’ve already seen several clothing and kitchen items. But The Emporium was the first place where we spotted this cup set with four different designs that match the plate set. Get it for $34.99.
Another collection that has been released recently is inspired by Toy Story 4. Adding to the group of items we’ve already seen, there are now some souvenirs for your pets! Check out this pet spirit jersey for $39.99.
Can’t get your dog to wear a shirt? No worries! Get these Toy Story pet toys instead! They’re available for $24.99.
And last but not least in The Emporium, we spotted new pins for The Lion King fanatics. First there’s a Scar and Zazu set for $27.99.
You can also have no worries with this Hakuna Matata pin for $14.99.
And finally, there’s a Rafiki pin for $11.99.
Apparently, it’s a good week to be a Cars, Lion King, or Toy Story fan!
Uptown Jewelers
Across the street in Uptown Jewelers, you’ll often find a collection of different Disney bags. This week, we spotted a new Pineapple Swirl Loungefly bag. Isn’t she cute?!
The tropical design is available in the park now for $75. And it’s coming to shopDisney soon!
Big Top Souvenirs
At Big Top Souvenirs in Storybook Circus, we spotted this new phone case that’s MADE for Ariel fans. The colorful design will really make you feel like you’re part of HER world!
You can pick one up for your phone for $34.99.
Frontier Trading Post
Frontier Trading Post is home to a bunch of different pins, but this week, we got two new additions that match the Joey Chou Magic Kingdom collection. Each of these designs is $14.99.
They have two different whimsical art styles that feature Cinderella Castle.
Bonjour Village Gifts
Have you ever wanted a tail like Ariel? If so, you can have one with this new beach towel available in Bonjour Village Gifts!
The fin-shaped design can be purchased for $29.99 and even has faux scales printed on it.
Star Traders
Want more of that Toy Story collection we showed earlier? You got it! This set of four plates was found in Star Traders in Tomorrowland.
Each plate has a different design and you can get all four for $39.99.
Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar
And finally, we come to Adventureland’s Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar (try saying that five times fast!) where there’s a brand new Adventureland and Enchanted Tiki Room-inspired clothing and accessory line.
To start, we’ve got this Tiki Room romper with spaghetti straps and pockets. Get it for $54.99.
Keep those eyes shielded from the hot Florida sun with this Enchanted Tiki Room hat for $34.99. The band and the underside of the hat are covered in a bird pattern!
If you like the hat, they also have a matching polo shirt! Pick up this one for $49.99.
One of our favorite additions is this Enchanted Tiki Room hair accessories set, complete with a headband and claw clip. It’s in Magic Kingdom for $19.99.
And the headband perfectly matches the Enchanted Tiki Room dress! Like the romper, it also has pockets, and you can buy it for $54.99.
Feel a little bit tropical with this Enchanted Tiki Room button-up shirt. It’s available for $39.99.
Lastly, there are two t-shirts in the collection. There’s this Adventureland “Follow Your Own Path” design…
…and this Adventureland “Life is Full of Adventure” cropped tee. Both are $39.99.
That’s everything new we spotted in Magic Kingdom during our recent visits, but stay tuned to DFB for more updates as we visit the park this week and beyond! We’ll continue to bring you all the latest news from Disney World.
