Are you the type of person to start planning your next Disney vacation while you’re already on a Disney vacation? Do you feel like it’s never too early to get excited about your next trip? Then we’ve got some exciting news for you!
Have you ever planned a trip on the Disney Cruise Line? Disney has released their itineraries for the 2024 summer season, along with important booking information, and you might just be tempted to book one once you hear the destinations. Here’s what you need to know.
Disney has released their summer 2024 itineraries and there are some exciting choices! Let’s take a look.
First, as part of the new bookings available for the summer 2024 season, you’ll be able to visit Disney’s NEW private island in The Bahamas — Lighthouse Point.
You’ll be able to check out this new beach retreat starting in June 2024 aboard the Disney Magic, which sets sail from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, or aboard the Disney Fantasy, which sets sail from Port Canaveral, Florida.
There will be an inaugural cruise on the Fantasy on June 8th. But there will also be a preview cruise on June 6th on the Magic. Just note that the preview cruise will only give you a “sneak peek” of the new private island with “limited access to some areas.” After the inaugural cruise, you’ll get to visit Lighthouse Point on certain 3, 4, and 5-night cruises.
There are also some new European destinations to choose from in the summer of 2024. The Disney Dream will be returning to locations in the Mediterranean, Greek Isles, British Isles, the Norwegian Fjords, and Iceland.
These options will feature some new ports of call, including Valencia, Spain; Haugesund, Norway; and Hamburg, Germany, along with some returning Mediterranean destinations that Disney hasn’t visited since 2014.
Disney Cruise Line will also be returning to Alaska next summer, aboard the Disney Wonder from May through September 2024.
Plus, the Disney Fantasy and Disney Wish will set sail to islands throughout the Caribbean and The Bahamas. All of the sailings on those ships (which are based in Port Canaveral) will visit Castaway Cay.
If any of these summer 2024 trips sound like your ideal vacation, you’ll be able to reserve your spot soon! Bookings open to the general public on March 30th, 2023. They do open a bit earlier if you’re a Platinum, Gold, or Silver Castaway Club Member, or if you’re a Golden Oak Member, Disney Vacation Club Member, or Adventure Insider.
