Nothing like a good ‘ol Mickey Premium Bar!

From Mickey bars to funnel cakes, we’re always down to indulge in a sweet treat. We found a new treat recently that consists of two of our favorite Disney desserts — COMBINED. It’s at EPCOT and we’re taking you along to try it with us.

A CHURRO SUNDAE has arrived at La Cantina de San Angel in the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT. No, this is not a drill. Disney churros and ice cream … Are we dreaming?! Okay, enough talking. Let’s get to eating.

Cantina de San Angel

The sundae is $7.99 and consists of caramel and vanilla swirl soft serve (you can choose one or both) with caramel sauce, mini churros, and red, white, and green sprinkles. You can also add chocolate sauce if your heart desires!

Our first impression was how tasty this looked. Hmm … It also had us missing Christmas, but of course red, green, and white are the colors on the Mexico flag — so we’re assuming that’s what they were going for! ANYWAY, let’s try this bad boy.

Is someone playing Jingle Bells?

The caramel and vanilla soft serve was creamy and delicious. The caramel sauce was amazingly gooey and added the perfect boost of extra caramel flavor. The churros are good, but we could tell that they were pre-made and stored, so they weren’t super fresh. They didn’t taste bad at all, though! The cinnamon sugar coating was very tasty — and the sprinkles added a nice extra texture.

If you love caramel and churros, this snack is a must-try for you! If you aren’t a fan of caramel, just go ahead and skip this one because truly, the caramel is the star of the show. Oh, and if you’re used to the freshly baked goodness that is a Disneyland churro, you might be a little disappointed, but that’s just us being picky and showing favoritism to those DLR churros. 😉 IYKYK.
