DATE and PRICE Announced for D23 Member TRON Coaster Previews in Disney World

TRON Lightcycle / Run is now programming at Disney World and we’re nearing its official opening date!

We recently rode the TRON coaster during previews where we learned more about the lockers, the unique seating, and the most surprising part of the ride. Now that we know when Annual Passholder preview registration opens, it’s time to talk about D23 Members!

TRON Lightcycle / Run opens to the public on April 4th, but Cast Member previews have already started. If you are a D23 Gold Member who wants to get on TRON early, an exclusive preview will be held on Saturday, March 18th from 6:30PM-8:30PM. UPDATE: The D23 TRON preview event is now SOLD OUT.

Tickets for D23 Gold Members will go on sale on Wednesday, February 15th at 10AM PT/1PM ET. These will cost $50 plus a $7 processing fee for one Gold Member and one guest. This event will have limited capacity and likely sell out fast — set your alarms now!

How can you better your chances of grabbing a ticket? Log into the D23 website with the account attached to to Gold Membership BEFORE the tickets go on sale. When the tickets go live, immediately join the queue. There will be a virtual queue, but that does not guarantee that you will be able to buy a ticket.

Once you have a ticket, there are a few things to note about the experience. D23 Gold Members will check in at the Transportation and Ticket Center and then go through a designated turnstile at the entrance of Magic Kingdom. You’ll be able to ride as many times as you want during the event and grab a snack at the Attraction Plaza in Tomorrowland. A D23-exclusive commemorative gift is also included.
