With the 2023 Disney World Marathon Weekend fast approaching, runDisney has given runners yet another amazing tutorial that will be sure to sparkle through every mile! This Dopey-inspired Do-It-Yourself project is time efficient and is a great addition to any costume.

We found a tutorial for bedazzled leg warmers that perfectly match the vibes of this year’s 90s-themed races. Inspired by one of our favorite of the seven dwarves, these leg warmers are perfect for those completing the Dopey Challenge.
With the Walt Disney World 2023 Marathon Weekend only a few short days away, this simple and time-efficient tutorial is the perfect addition to your race costume. runDisney shared this fun DIY to help you prepare to go the distance.

Supplies:
This quick tutorial requires only three supplies! You’ll need:
- Green leg Warmers
- Extra-strength adhesive
- Colorful gems

Instructions:
To make the leg warmers, follow these instructions:
- Stretch out the leg warmers so that you can easily apply your gems! runDisney recommends using a bottle or similarly shaped item.
- Apply the gems to the leg warmers using the adhesive. Use any color or pattern you like! We recommend using gems that match the rest of your runDisney costume.
- Let the adhesive dry overnight so that your gems will stay in place as you run all those miles!

Once the adhesive has dried, slip these leg warmers on over your socks and get ready to shine through your runDisney race!
Remember, runDisney races can really impact crowds in Disney World, so you will want to be prepared for that. Roads also close for races, causing traffic at times. We will be following all of the crowds and closures, so stay tuned.
