What Disney Guests Paid for Genie+ on New Year’s Day

Disney World is expecting high demand for Genie+ today — with pricing returning to $29 per person for the service!

There’s also a small change underway at Disney World with Genie+ this week. When the service — which allows you to pay to skip the lines at many Disney World attractions — first debuted, you could add it on to your tickets when you booked a vacation package.

But when Disney started selling 2023 vacation packages in June 2022, the option to add Genie+ on was removed. So for people whose vacation packages start today or after today, they will be buying Genie+ the morning of their park visit.

After seeing Genie+ sell out at Disneyland for the first time ever last week, we will be keeping on eye on this change to see if it results in more Genie+ sell outs.
