REVIEW: Peppermint Cream Cheese Mousse at Satu'li Canteen in Disney World

Happy holidays from Disney World, it’s time to eat some sweets!

It’s the holiday season!

We’ve tried dozens of treats all around the parks and resorts this holiday season, but we’re not done yet, even though Christmas is just a few days away. Today, we’re heading to Animal Kingdom to pick up a delicious snack from years past!

We’re at Satu’li Canteen in Pandora, where the stunning Peppermint Cream Cheese Mousse has returned! It’s only available from December 22nd-31st, so you’ll have to hurry if you want to try it.

It’s very photogenic

We’ve seen this treat here the past few years during the holiday season, and we’ve really enjoyed it in the past…but does it live up to the hype this year? It’s made with peppermint sauce, peppermint candy pieces, and chocolate “dirt” all on top of the peppermint cream cheese mousse for $5.79.

Take a peek inside

We found that the outer layer is where you find most of the peppermint flavor, but overall, this is a nice, light, and creamy dessert. If you’re tired of all the heavy holiday desserts, this one is a surefire winner! The peppermint flavor is also done well — it’s not super overpowering. If you love peppermint, make sure this snack is on your list!

The only thing that confuses us is the chocolate “dirt” because all it really seems to add is some extra color and texture. But overall, this is still one of the holiday snacks we look forward to every year!
