There are SO many new things coming to Disney World that it’s difficult to keep track of everything!
Cake Bake Shop location
We’ve got TWO new attractions coming to the parks (TRON Lightcycle Run and Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana). We’ve got several new restaurants on the way, too, including Roundup Rodeo BBQ, as well as The Cake Bake Shop. Speaking of The Cake Bake Shop, we’ve got a BIG update to share with you!
The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers, which will be located at Disney’s BoardWalk, will be a table service restaurant AND bake shop with a menu of savory and sweet treats, an afternoon tea service, and ALL kinds of yummy cakes, cookies, and more. We recently saw concept art of what it will look like:

Well, now, The Cake Bake Shop recently shared some photos to Instagram announcing that construction on the restaurant has officially started!

It even looks like we’ll see some signage at the restaurant soon!

We’ll be sure to head over there at some point and get some photos of the updated construction. We’ll also make sure to give you any further information we have about the new restaurant. Who knows? Maybe we’ll even get an opening date soon! We can’t wait!
