The Highly-Anticipated Jungle Cruise Holiday UPDATE Is BACK in Disney World!

It’s officially time for the holiday season in Disney World, and that means a TON of festive eats, drinks, experiences, and more.

Sure, we love all the delicious snacks and exclusive merchandise that Disney releases this time of year, and the special holiday events can’t be topped. But, one of our absolute FAVORITE parts about Christmastime in Disney World comes when the Jungle Cruise is transformed into the Jingle Cruise! This adventure ride has been given a holiday makeover, so come with us to check it out!

The Jingle Cruise is one of our favorite ride overlays that Disney busts out for the holidays, and we couldn’t wait to check it out this year! We hopped in line and prepared ourselves for some fun and puns.

The queue for the ride is littered with holiday-themed jokes — check out the menu!

There are decorations throughout all the random theming elements — we noticed everything from baubles to ornaments to plastic Santa heads (???). And the Skippers are wearing their jolly Santa hats…in khaki of course!

Once you board your boat (which all have festive names for the season — ours was Brrr Bertha!), you’ll start to notice the decor throughout the ride. The hut across from the boarding area was all decked out, and the iconic “jingle all the way” banner was back as well.

It’s time!

There were plenty of gift-wrapped presents scattered throughout the ride, some on the shore and some floating in the water. We noticed them in the gorilla scene and the rhino scene with the explorers.

And of course, you can expect some holiday jokes as well! It wouldn’t be the Jingle Cruise without some punny Christmas humor.

The Jungle Cruise is a popular ride even on a regular day, so you might want to hop in line as soon as the park opens or consider purchasing Genie+ for the day.
