We’re only a few days away from the 2022 runDisney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend in Disney World!

Runners visiting Disney World for the marathon can take part in EPCOT’s 2022 Food & Wine Festival, new holiday treats, or even ride the seasonal favorite Jingle Cruise. Disney is also giving runners the opportunity to SAVE on tickets to one Disney World location, and here’s what you need to know.
Disney just announced that Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend runners and up to three additional guests can get 50% off a 1-day ticket to Typhoon Lagoon water park! You must purchase a ticket for use between November 3rd to November 10th, 2022, and to buy a ticket you must show your valid race bib during Expo Hours or at Typhoon Lagoon.

Typhoon Lagoon is one of the two water parks that call Disney World home and it will actually close on November 13th, 2022 for refurbishment, so this is a good opportunity to get in one last visit. This water park is home to a 400-foot-long water coaster, six different water slides, a wave pool, a lazy river, and even a special area for kids.

The Wine & Dine Half Marathon will take place in Disney World from November 3rd to November 6th, 2022 as part of EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival. The next runDisney race will be the 2023 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend from January 4th to the 8th.

If you’re looking for a Disney World water park after Typhoon Lagoon closes for refurbishment on November 13th, you can visit Blizzard Beach, which is reopening on that same date! Disney has not yet shared how long Typhoon Lagoon will be closed.
