The holidays will be here before we know it!
Lots of people are focused on Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, and Christmas at the moment, but New Year’s creeps up on many people every year. Disney World is open for both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day (you can check the park hours here), and if you want a sit-down dining reservation for one of those days, you’ll have to be quick because they can go FAST. If you want one, you’re going to want to grab it NOW!
You can grab your New Year’s Day dining reservations in Disney World starting TODAY, and you’ll want to hurry to get yours because a lot of people visit the parks for the holidays, which means these reservations are in high demand.
Not sure how Advance Dining Reservations work? Not to worry, we’re here to help. Some Disney restaurants (including most sit-down restaurants) require reservations to dine at, and those reservations open 60 days in advance of your tip. That may sound like a long time, but some popular restaurants like Cinderella’s Royal Table book up in seconds.
To book your reservations, head into your My Disney Experience app and navigate to the dining section. You’ll be able to put in how many people are in your party and on what day you’d like to dine. You’ll then see which restaurants are available for that date. Alternatively, you can head to Disney World’s website and look up specific restaurants to book reservations, or call 407-WDW-DINE (3463).

If you don’t get the reservation you want, don’t panic! You can keep checking back as your trip approaches, as some people cancel reservations before their trip, and you may be able to snag it!
There are also plenty of quick-service restaurants in Disney World that don’t require reservations, so if you don’t want to deal with the hassle, you’ll still have plenty of choices on where to eat.
Be sure to grab your park pass reservations too, because certain parks are already at capacity, and it won’t be long until the others do as well. Keep an eye out too for special events and entertainment during the holiday, or just stay tuned to DFB — we’ll tell you all the latest news!
