PHOTOS: Something NEW Has Popped Up in EPCOT

EPCOT is a great place to grab some fun beverages.

Whether you choose to sample some Coca-Cola flavors from around the world (try the Beverly — we dare you!), grab a refreshing frozen mint tea in Morocco, or sip on margaritas in Mexico, there are plenty of beverages to help you cool down on a hot day. There’s also Cool Wash, which offers up a variety of slushes, but this iconic drink spot just got a massive change!

Cool Wash isn’t always open, but when it is, it’s where you can go to create your own slushy, including some fun seasonal offerings when offered at EPCOT’s many festivals. We previously noticed that Cool Wash was behind shrubs, which can often signal some construction or refurbishment changes.

Then we noticed that the “Cool Wash” sign was taken down.

During a recent trip to EPCOT, we saw that a NEW sign had been placed on the building and it looks like this spot may NOT be called Cool Wash anymore.

Something’s different

Instead, the new sign says “Refreshment Station.” It seems to be more in line with EPCOT’s updated sign designs, which have that retro feel to them.

We don’t know yet if the beverage options here will change, but we’ll keep an eye on it and let you know when we have more details!
