Disney’s actually brought an ICONIC Pixar animated house to life!

If you’ve ever found yourself wishing you could live at Disney World or Disneyland but didn’t want to relocate to central Florida or Anaheim, California, Storyliving by Disney could be just the answer you’ve been searching for! These new Disney-inspired communities are springing up across the nation in various states, with one of the latest to be constructed in Palm Springs — Cotino.
Cotino will be the first Storyliving by Disney community. Set to open later this year, the community will be comprised of parks, pathways, and walking paths around a mile-long promenade, as well as equestrian-themed dog parks, a 55+ area of the community, and more.
While you can certainly browse the model home plans on Cotino’s website (or even better, visit them in person as you’re selecting your own home), there’s one particular home design that really caught our attention. Disney has truly brought something “incredible” to life, pulled straight from the animated film, and the best part about it is, YOU could call it your own!

The Parr House (otherwise known best as The Incredibles’ home) will be made available for eligible owners to occupy in Cotino! Storyliving by Disney took to social media to announce the modern concept’s arrival to the community for Artisan Club community members to enjoy, and it’s every bit what you would hope it might look like inside and out (except capes, of course)!

…while a peek at the inside living area presents a swanky and vivacious space meant for entertaining, relaxing, and ya know, plotting how to take down the next threat to the city. The first-floor art studio will celebrate the Cotino community’s overall theme as a “creative oasis” offering a place to relax, retreat, and explore new ambitions. The idea was inspired by Walt Disney himself, who frequented his family home in the Palm Springs area when he needed to rest and creatively recharge.

Imagineers have pored over details in the original concept art from the Incredibles film to find special details and unique decorative items that bring this home to life. The design color palette is also reflective of the film’s iconic characters and settings. In communal areas like the living room and kitchen, tones of red, black, and yellow will pay homage to the family’s iconic super suits while upstairs, each of the bedrooms will reflect the individual style of familiar Incredibles characters, including Edna Mode, Lucius Best aka “Frozone,” and the Parr kids, Jack-Jack, Violet, and Dash.

This one-of-a-kind space will only be accessible to voluntary Artisan Club members to host programming, special events, and overnight stays. Of course, even as a paid club member, there will be terms and fees that may apply for additional benefits that aren’t included in the initial membership investment. Artisan Club memberships will allow residents use of amenities such as Architect’s Fork (a casual table-service restaurant inspired by the motif of an architectural drawing room), Plot Twist (an inviting outdoor bar on the waterfront infused with the art of storytelling), Wellness Center & Outdoor Sport Courts (includes a fitness center with cardio equipment, strength training, and free weights, and a movement studio), and the Creative Studio (a multi-purpose space for creative and artistic pursuits that will host club programming such as speakers, artists, and more).

Homes within Cotino are already available, with some move-in ready. The starting price for the home models begins around a cool $1.4 million for those interested in potentially joining the community.
