Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will officially be released on November 11th, 2022 and one Disney resort will be celebrating in a BIG way.

We’ve already learned that a special character from the film will be in Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park and we’ve spotted Black Panther Disney ears too. But now a whole Black Panther: Wakanda Forever CELEBRATION has been announced for Disneyland!

Disneyland Resort will be celebrating Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in a big way from November 11th, 2022 through January 8th, 2023! Throughout this time, you’ll get the chance to see new visiting warriors, enjoy Wakanda-inspired dishes, see props from the film, and more.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll get to do.

Characters and New Experiences!

Disney has shared that guests are “invited to Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park to witness as they introduce the world to the next warrior taking on the legendary mantle of the Black Panther.” So it sounds like the NEW Black Panther from the sequel film could be making an appearance in the park. We cannot wait to see what happens there.

In addition, M’Baku will be making his way over to Avengers Campus (as previously announced). But Disney has revealed that M’Baku won’t just be making appearances in the park. He’ll actually be inviting recruits to join in on a NEW experience called The Way of the Jabari.

Through this experience, you’ll get to learn more about the culture of the Jabari Clan through their chants and percussion.

Celebration Garden

If you’re looking to relax in a space themed to Black Panther, you’ll also find that at Disney California Adventure Park. Next to Avengers Campus, you’ll find The Black Panther Celebration Garden.

This area is meant to honor the legacy of the Black Panther within the Wakandan lore. Here, guests will be able to relax as they reflect on the protectors of Wakanda.

Food!

Looking for new food? You’ll find that during this celebration too! There will be a Flavors of Wakanda marketplace within the Hollywood Backlot that’ll offer “flavorful, spiced traditional African dishes.”

And you’ll also be able to pick up a Wakandan Roasted Pork Wrap at Shawarma Palace and Shawarma Palace Too, inside Avengers Campus.

Collectibles

But wait…there’s MORE! During this celebration, you’ll also get to pick up Shuri’s very own gauntlet! Disney notes that it’ll be just ONE of “several drinking vessels and more” that you’ll be able to find at the Flavors of Wakanda Marketplace, Shawarma Palace, Shawarma Palace Too, and other vending carts near Avengers Campus.

If you head to the Super Store Featuring Avengers Campus (in Hollywood Land), you’ll also find gear themed to the movie that you can bring home!

Props and More

Head to the Super Store Featuring Avengers Campus (in Hollywood Land) to check out props and costumes from the film that’ll be displayed there.

And if you head to the Downtown Disney District, you’ll find even more Black Panther fun. Outside of a building near the Star Wars Trading Post, you’ll find a limited-time mural that celebrates Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The mural will be created by Nikkolas Smith, who you might recognize as the artist behind the King Chad mural previously on display in Downtown Disney.

Again, the celebration will be going on from November 11th, 2022 all the way through January 8th, 2023, so you’ll have plenty of time to check it out!
