The ONLY Place You’ll Find REAL Snow in Florida

It’s almost the most wonderful time of the year!

Soon, we’ll be attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, enjoying the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays (including the Candlelight Processional), and frolicking in snoap (aka FAKE snow). However, there’s one place in Florida that doesn’t need snoap — why? Because it has REAL snow.

That’s right — you can see REAL snow at Snowcat Ridge in Dade City, Florida, where you can also indulge in fun snow activities, like snow tubing and making snow angels. REAL snow angels! There’s even a play area for snowball fights.

How is that possible, you might ask? Well, they do MAKE the snow there (because it’s not like snow is a natural occurrence in Florida), but it’s made with JUST water, which makes it REAL snow.

If you’d like to head out to Snowcat Ridge, it opens for the season on November 10th. You can get tickets on the Snowcat Ridge website, which run from $26.95 through $39.95 depending on the date you go. Note that you’ll save $5 on each ticket if you buy online in advance.
