Many of us stay up to date on what’s happening in Disney World parks, but what about Disney World hotels?
With over 25 different Disney World hotels and tons of restaurants, shopping, and construction going on among them, there’s a lot happening beyond the Disney Parks! We’re in the parks every as well as frequent hotel visitors, so find out what’s new at Disney World hotels right here!
All-Star Resort Food Updates
We’re starting out with the All-Star Resorts, where we tried two NEW Halloween treats. The Mickey Pumpkin Cheesecake is made of pumpkin cheesecake and spiced chocolate cake with buttercream and chocolate décor for $5.79. The cheesecake was creamy with a great crunch from the chocolate shell, and the cake was moist and delicious.
The My (Plant-Based) Boo Cupcake is a chocolate cupcake topped with a ghostly swirl of vanilla buttercream and sprinkles for $5.29, and it’s both plant-based and gluten/wheat friendly. It had a strange banana flavor and it was a bit dry too.
Both treats are available from October 1st through October 31st.

Art of Animation Food Updates
Art of Animation also had two new treats at Landscape of Flavors, including this Whoopie Monster, a spiced apple whoopie pie with marshmallow buttercream and caramel for $5.79. The marshmallow cream was delicious, and the whoopie pie was moist and tasty. Plus it’s adorable!
And the Spellbound Chicken Adobo Nachos, made with blue corn tortilla chips with chicken adobo, toasted pumpkin seeds, roasted corn, black beans, and a zesty pumpkin cheese sauce finished with lime crema and a ghostly pepper salsa, was a HUGE win. It had an incredible blend of fall flavors and the balance of sweet and savory was amazing! Try it for $12.49.
Both of these new eats are available through October 31st.

Beach Club Food Updates
Over at Beach Club, characters returned to Cape May Cafe with Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast! You can now eat your breakfast buffet with Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy — all dressed up in their beach outfits.
Breakfast costs $45 per adult and $29 per child, and make sure you try the Salted Caramel “Beach Buns” and Mickey and Minnie Waffles!

Over at the Beach Club Marketplace, two new Halloween snacks arrived, including this Mummy Cookies ‘n Scream Trifle, which is made with layers of chocolate cookies ‘n cream mousse, chocolate cake, and whipped cream for $5.99. We thought the flavors blended well together and the whipped cream was super tasty.
And the (Not So) Poison Apple Trifle was made with layers of caramel crunch, apple mousse, caramel mousse, and vanilla cake with buttercream and fondant décor for $5.99. We were kinda disappointed by the caramel and apple getting overshadowed by the vanilla, and there wasn’t much crunch.
Both treats are around through October 31st!

And at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop, there was a Halloween Shake, or a pumpkin spice milkshake with caramel and chocolate drizzle and whipped cream, rimmed with icing and Halloween sprinkles and topped with a vanilla cupcake for $15.
It was FULL of fall vibes and delicious to boot! You also get to keep the souvenir cup.

BoardWalk Inn Food Updates
At the BoardWalk Deli, we tried — you guessed it — two Halloween treats! The Boo Brownie was a Mickey-shaped brownie topped with ganache and whipped cream ghosts for $5.79. It was thick, chocolatey, and perfectly fudgy.
And the Creepy Cupcake was made of a vanilla cupcake with blood orange curd filling, vanilla mascarpone cream, chocolate cookie crumbs, and sugar pumpkins for $5.79. The cupcake was moist and the pumpkins on top were really fun!
You can try these two items through October 31st.

Polynesian Village Resort Construction Update
We’ve been keeping a close eye on the construction of the new Disney Vacation Club villas coming to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort in 2024, and we’ve been updating you often. After Hurricane Ian, a large portion of the construction site was flooded.
This week, however, the water mostly receded, and concrete barriers appeared to have been erected.
Inside the hotel, Kona Cafe has been closed for refurbishment, but now we know that it will reopen on November 1st with an “enhanced table-service experience.” We’ll have to wait and see what that means, and reservations are now open.
There still appears to be quite a bit of work to go on the DVC villas but you can continue to follow along with us for all your big updates!

Wilderness Lodge Construction Update
And some construction walls have gone up in the Wilderness Lodge lobby. We’ll be monitoring this closely for more updates!
