This Disney World Treat Tastes SCARIER Than It Looks 😳

Think you’ve tasted everything Halloween has to offer at Disney World?! Think again.

Tooooons of Halloween offerings were late to the party this year. The Donald Duck Candy Corn Sipper took its time to get here. Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit is just now arriving at EPCOT. And a bunch of Halloween treats came to the resort at the very last minute. So, let’s head over to Hollywood Studios to try one of those new treats! (Beware: arachnophobes may not enjoy what lies ahead.)

Over at the ABC Commissary at Hollywood Studios, you can grab the Black Widow Tart for $5.49. It’s a spiced milk chocolate tart filled with orange curd, pomegranate molasses whipped cream, candied orange peel, and a dark chocolate spider.

How does this spooOOooky treat taste? Well, the flavor combinations were pretty…frightening. They just didn’t pair well for us. The mousse was tangy and didn’t blend with the other flavors. The texture was also slimy on the inside. And the spice also didn’t seem to mix well with the chocolate.

We had a hard time finding something we liked with this treat. If textures don’t tend to bother you and you like unique flavor combinations, you might like this one!

Slimy…

If you’re a fan of tangy treats mixed with chocolate, and slimy textures, then this treat is for you. But for us, those combinations were a little too spooky. We’ll stick with the Pumpkin Lunch Box Tart at Woody’s Lunch Box instead.
