The D23 Expo is underway in California and Disney has already revealed a ton of HUGE announcements.
From the new upcoming animated film Wish to the announcement of Inside Out 2 to the first trailer of The Little Mermaid, there have been no dull moments at the Expo. Now we just learned about the return of a fan-favorite Disney+ series!
Dr. Mark Penning, Vice President of Disney’s Animals, Science & Environment, announced on Instagram that National Geographic’s Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom is returning to Disney+ for a second season! This show originally debuted in 2020, and it showcases a behind the scenes look at Disney’s Animal Kingdom as well as The Seas with Nemo & Friends at EPCOT.
Dr. Penning’s Instagram post comes after the announcement of the second season of the show was made at the D23 Expo, where they also said that they just wrapped filming for season two. We can’t wait to check out more of the animals at Disney World and the Cast Members who take care of them!
