Chocolate ESPRESSO Bread Pudding?! Don’t Mind If We Do, Disney.

It’s Halloween time in Disneyland and there are a bunch of different ways to celebrate!

Oogie Boogie Bash is happening on select nights, there are pumpkins all over Disneyland Park’s Main Street, U.S.A., and the Haunted Mansion got its special The Nightmare Before Christmas overlay. There are also over 50 (!!) special spooky foods coming to the parks, and we just tried out a brand new treat!

This is the new Chocolate-Espresso Bread Pudding from Pacific Wharf Café in Disney California Adventure park! It has crème anglaise, whipped topping, a gummy eyeball, and toasted pecans.

The Treat

Hope you’re in the mood for chocolate! This treat is packed with it — and it came fresh out of the oven (keep in mind that we may have just been lucky with the freshness, but the bread pudding from here is usually pretty fresh). The Bread Pudding had hints of Espresso in most bites, with the crème anglaise and whipped cream providing a sweet, vanilla flavor.

The pecans provided a crunchy texture, but not much flavor. Oh, and the gummy eyeball? Nowhere to be found. (Where’d it go? SpooOOooky.)

Cut Into

If you’re not a fan of espresso or chocolate, then you may want to pass on this one. But we love both flavors, so we really enjoyed this treat!
