Homecomin’ in Disney Springs
Whether it’s a new cupcake for a holiday or an exclusive chef’s special at a restaurant, you could eat different food on nearly every visit to Disney World, just by taking advantage of those short-term menu additions. And starting today, there’s a limited-time menu item at a popular spot in Disney Springs!
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ announced on Twitter today that they’re bringing back the Capital Meatloaf for a limited time. This dish is served with meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, sawmill gravy, and chunky ketchup.

It’s only available from August 5th-7th as a weekend special, so guests that visit in the next few days can check it out! It sounds like just the kind of delicious comfort food that Homecomin’ is known for.
This restaurant is incredibly popular, so we suggest making a reservation online before your visit. There’s also the option to walk up to the podium to check for same-day availability, but that’s not guaranteed, so it’s probably best to plan ahead. During your visit, make sure to try out some of their most popular items, like the fried chicken or the Hummingbird Cake.
