Treats are popping up all around Disney World, and we may have found the happiest one of all. Yes, the happiest.

Funnel Cake
There are toooooons of seasonal treats to taste, thanks to Disney Springs’ Flavors of Florida event, the 2022 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, and the various summertime offerings. But today, we’re taking a (short) break from those limited-time offerings, and we’re trying another treat we haven’t dug into yet. So, let’s head over to Disney’s Pop Century Resort to try a treat that comes with a smile!
Over at Everything Pop Century Shopping & Dining at Disney’s Pop Century Resort, we tried the Pop Goes Bananas Cupcake! This treat is $5.49, and is a yellow cupcake filled with caramelized banana, pastry crème, caramel-latte buttercream, and a chocolate smiley face medallion. And spoiler alert: banana lovers will go bananas for this one.

Nice and Cool!
This treat is packed with icing and cream, as the description suggests. That’s pretty on-brand for Disney cupcakes, however, so it shouldn’t surprise your palate. The banana flavoring is also anything but subtle, which we enjoyed.

Pop Goes Bananas
This treat reminded us of banana pudding, so if you enjoy that dessert, you’ll love this one! But, while our reporter today loved this treat and would totally recommend it, you might not enjoy it and we could see it being pretty divisive among families and friend groups. You’ve got to really love banana for this one to be a must-buy/try. But if you do, we say go for it!

YUM!
Overall, we reeeaaally liked this treat, and it was also super adorable so…bonus points.
