Disney World is returning to normal!
Traditional character meet and greets have returned, even more character meet and greets are coming back, and a lot of fun shows, like the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review, are entertaining guests again. Now, ANOTHER fun entertainment option is back, and this one is 100% FREE!
The Chip ‘N Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long is back for the first time since 2019! For those who don’t know about this show, it happens at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. This experience is just what it says it is — a campfire show where guests can roast marshmallows, sing songs, and meet Chip ‘n’ Dale.
Even better, it’s 100% free. You can either bring your own S’mores-making supplies or you can buy a S’mores kit from the nearby Chuckwagon Snack Bar. After roasting marshmallows and singing songs, there’s also a movie on the campground. How fun, right?
The Campfire Sing-A-Long happens every night at Fort Wilderness, weather permitting. You can find the schedules of what movies are playing each night at the Front Desk of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, or you can call (407) WDW-PLAY or (407) 939-7529.
Do note that the movie and sing-a-long could be canceled due to weather or other circumstances. So, keep that in mind if you plan on checking out the Campfire Sing-A-Long. But, this is still a great way to hang out with Disney characters without a park ticket!
If you want to meet even more characters without park tickets, you can also get a character dining experience at a restaurant like Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort or Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort (character dining is breakfast only, though). You can even meet characters from Snow White at Artist Point at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Note that you’ll need to make reservations in advance for these experiences, as they fill up quickly!
