It’s almost Independence Day!

If you’re going to be in Disney World for the holiday, there are special limited-time 4th of July snacks that have made their way into the parks! We’re here to tell you what’s worth your money and what’s not, starting with a snack from EPCOT.

One of the newest restaurants in EPCOT is getting in on the celebrations with a new 4th of July twist on their signature snack. Connections Café is the Starbucks location in this park, which is attached to the counter-service restaurant Connections Eatery.

At the Café, you can normally buy a Liege Waffle as a snack, which is a fluffy waffle that has a sugary coating.

But for the holiday weekend, they have the 4th of July Liege Waffle, which is a Brioche Dough Waffle with Vanilla Icing around the edges, covered in Red, White, and Blue Sprinkles. It’s topped with a White Chocolate Mickey and Powdered Sugar. It’s available for $3.99.

We’ve really enjoyed the classic Liege Waffle here, and we could tell this one is the same snack, just dressed up a bit! The treat looks very pretty, so if you’re trying to get a beautiful snack for a photo shoot, this is a good choice.

The waffle is light and fluffy, and the extra powdered sugar was tasty as well. We thought the sprinkles around the edges were a fun touch, but they made it kind of hard to eat the waffle without a fork and knife. However, if you like sweet treats and especially vanilla icing, we think you’ll love this.

Those looking for a less sugar-y treat might want to avoid this one! Instead, you can check out the Magic Kingdom Club Eclair, which is pretty tart, or try the Berry Shortcake. Both of those treats can be found in Magic Kingdom.
