Who is ready for the holiday season?!

We love the holiday season!

We know, it’s only June, but Disney is celebrating Halfway to the Holidays with some fun foods, and we’re checking them out for ya. We’ve also recently learned about some of the holiday festivities that will be returning this year, like Haunted Mansion Holiday over in Disneyland. So, come with us as we check out a very festive treat for the holly jolly celebration!

This is the Peppermint Churro from California Churro in Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District!

It’s a churro rolled in crushed peppermint and drizzled with a mint frosting topped with peppermint candy pieces.

We’ve seen a very similar treat at this churro cart last holiday season — the White Peppermint Churro.

We’ve also had some Peppermint Churros from places like Sunshine Churros in Disney Springs at Disney World last year!

They forgot our candy pieces on top!

So, how does this churro compare to the ones we’ve had in the past? If you can’t wait until December to get your peppermint on, then this is definitely the churro for you. The mint icing gave it a great mint taste, and the crushed peppermint made it even mintier. This is also a great treat if you need to freshen your breath!

If you’re a big fan of peppermint, then give this churro a try. We could definitely see how this treat could be a little too minty for some people, so if you’re not into that kind of freshness, then maybe opt for a different churro.
