REVIEW: We Had Such High Hopes for Disney's Latest Limited Time Coffee

From now until Sunday, Disney is celebrating Halfway to the Holidays with some exciting holiday announcements, and of course limited time merchandise and food!

We’ve already spotted the return of the Gold Holiday Popcorn Bucket in Disney Springs, and now we’re trying a limited time coffee from Joffrey’s in Disney Springs, too!

Today, we headed over to Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Company in Disney Springs to try the White Chocolate Gingerbread Latte!

White Chocolate Gingerbread Latte

This coffee is a combination of white chocolate sauce and gingerbread syrup topped with whipped cream. Sounds pretty good, right? We thought this drink was pretty average. It wasn’t bad by any means, but there was nothing that really wowed us about the flavors.

We got this drink iced, but it’s available hot as well, and for the over 21 crowd, spirits can be added! For almost $7 including tax, we’re not sure if this drink was worth the price or if we’d get it again. If you like gingerbread flavor in your coffee, you’ll probably like this, but if you’re not a fan of gingerbread or white chocolate (or coffee), we’d probably recommend ordering something different off of the Joffrey’s menu. Joffrey’s has many different flavored lattes, like mocha and vanilla, as well as teas and frozen drinks, so it has something for almost everyone.

This isn’t the only Halfway to the Holidays offering Joffrey’s has! You can also grab the Peppermint Mocha which has dark chocolate sauce, peppermint syrup, and whipped cream. It also comes hot or iced with the ability to add spirits if you’re over 21.

If you’re looking for other Halfway to the Holidays treats in Disney World this weekend, the Disney World hotels are where it’s at. Over at The Mara at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, you’ll be able to find Peppermint Bark Cheesecake and at Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has the returning Very Merry Minnie Mouse Cupcake!
