Gideon's Bakehouse Has COFFEE CANDLES and 2 Returning Treats in Disney Springs!

When it comes to desserts in Disney Springs, you’ve got quite a few options!

Head to Gideon’s Bakehouse for some cookies!

You could grab a post-dinner treat at Amorette’s Patisserie, where there are intricate cakes and pastries, or head on over to Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew to grab some sweets and a little caffeine. But, one of the most popular stops is Gideon’s Bakehouse, where you can try their famous nearly half-pound cookies and massive cake slices. And starting today, they have a NEW offering!

Gideon’s Bakehouse announced on Instagram today that starting today, they’ll be selling a new product — the Mourning Joe Candle! The candle has a “sweet coffee aroma” and contains no Phthalates, no paraffin, and no carcinogens. They’re locally poured by soap and candle brand Wash and Wik. You can purchase them currently in stores and online!

To celebrate this special occasion, Gideon’s Bakehouse is bringing back two popular treats for ONE day only — the Coffee Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookie and Coffee Toffee Vanilla Bean Cake Slices. They’re limited to two per person while supplies last.

The Coffee Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookie is a vanilla bean cookie filled with toffee and chocolate and topped with freshly ground espresso beans. According to Gideon’s Bakehouse, “It is finished with a sprinkling of sea salt harvested from Mourning Joe’s tears.”

We’ve tried this cookie in the past, and have been pretty big fans of it! If you’re a coffee-lover, it should be on your must-try list.

The Coffee Toffee Vanilla Bean Cake Slices are three towering layers of a Vanilla Coffee Bean Cake “smothered” in thick layers of Coffee Buttercream and filled with toffee pieces. That sounds incredibly flavorful!

Gideon’s Bakehouse is known for its massive cookies and cakes and since the opening of the Disney Springs location (officially) in 2021, they’ve quickly become a fan-favorite stop. Each month, there’s a new limited-time cookie flavor, and they’ll often run weekend-long or one-day-only specials throughout the month with specific items.
