The Disney Designer Doll Collection features the Disney princesses like we’ve never seen them before! Disney has already released the dolls for Jasmine, Pocahontas, Ariel, Tiana, Aurora, Mulan, and Merida. The Moana Doll has joined the Disney Designer Collection, and she’s taken on an entirely new look!

Instead of the normal two-piece outfit we’re used to seeing her in, Moana is wearing a detailed couture gown, which has a five layer ruffled skirt with embroidered, fringed and sequined trims in her signature orange color palette. The back has Tapa print ”wings” attached.

She’s also wearing the Heart of Te Fiti as a purse wristlet with a golden chain and accents.

Moana has a flower in her hair, which is in an updo — much different than her typical loose curls! She’s also wearing a white and orange necklace.

Moana is a limited edition of 9,800, and also includes a Certificate of Authenticity. This version of the Disney Princess was created by designer Nontra Null, who is a first-generation Thai-American. Similar to Moana and her Gramma Tala, Nontra Null’s grandmother played a big role in shaping her life path, helping to nurture her artistic side, so she pays tribute to that connection in this doll’s bold design.
