Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind truly has it all — an exciting soundtrack, a reverse launch, and appearances by some big actors.

But Disney just revealed some exciting news about another character that will be joining the bunch, and the character is played by an actor you might recognize!

Disney recently shared some information about a character that will be featured in the Cosmic Rewind attraction — “Centurion Tal Marik, Commander of the Starcharter and close advisor to Nova Prime.” But that’s not all — Disney also shared a FIRST LOOK at the actor behind the role — Terry Crews! 

Fans of Terry Crews will recognize him from his role in the tv show Brooklyn Nine-Nine, the show Arrested Development, and many other shows and movies. It looks like Centurion Tal Marik has quite the uniform!

So far, from what we know, the story of this ride begins with your tour of the Wonders of Xandar Pavilion. You’ll tour the Galaxarium to learn about how Xandar and Earth are similar, and you’ll also get to see some other areas within the pavilion.

But then things go a bit sideways. Turns out Eson, the villain of this story and a Celestial, has been watching Earth for a loooong time and is looking “to right a wrong in a big way.”

The Guardians of the Galaxy will need your help to step up and save the galaxy…again!

We do know that Nova Prime will once again be played by actress Glenn Close for this attraction. Nova Prime is the commander of the Nova Corps and the Xandarian leader.

We can’t wait to see how Terry Crews’ character fits into the storyline. We’ll be sure to look for more updates and let you know what we find.
