Ah, the iconic Mickey Pretzel. It’s a fan-favorite Mickey-shaped snack that you can find in all the Disney World theme parks!

One of the cutest Disney snacks, in our opinion
It’s hard to go wrong with this classic Disney snack. Just grab your side of cheese sauce, and you’re on your way! But wait…what is that? It can’t possibly be — is that CHOCOLATE?! We’re taking the road less traveled and trying out a SWEET dipping sauce for our pretzel today.
We LOVE dunking our Mickey Pretzel into the plastic cheese dipping sauce. Who doesn’t? (We’re not taking disagreements at this time.) It’s the perfect touch to this adorable snack.

Cheddar sauce!
I mean…look at that beautiful dip! (We like to think we have an elite dipping technique.) Mickey Pretzels — with or without cheese sauce — are a vacation staple for many guests.

Perfect technique
But have you ever wanted to try dipping this snack into another sauce? If so…boy, do we have a snack hack to show you. We’ve tried out this hack before, but we thought it was time to revisit the treat and see if it still measures up. To recreate this snack, go to the popcorn cart (which also sells churros) in Magic Kingdom’s Hub, and grab a Mickey Pretzel for $7.50 and a Chocolate Dipping Sauce for $1! The chocolate sauce is usually just for churros, but we’re trying it out with a pretzel today.

Mickey Pretzel
Have you ever tried a chocolate-covered pretzel? This is the exact same idea…only you’re DIPPING your pretzel into the chocolate. That means you get to control how much chocolate is actually going on your pretzel, which is a big bonus in our opinion. We thought the pretzel had a nice crust and wasn’t too covered in salt (which made for the perfect combo of salty and sweet), and it was also soft and warm inside. The chocolate sauce was thin, which made it easy to dip into although not as rich as we were hoping.

Look at this!
While we think this is a fun spin (and perfect for anyone that’s looking to satisfy their sweet tooth), we’ve got to admit that we still prefer the cheese sauce. We just can’t give up our plastic cheese! However, if you’re a fan of chocolate-covered pretzels, you should try this combo for yourself the next time you grab a Mickey Pretzel from the Hub. And, as always, check back here for the latest Disney news.
