St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner and Disney is preparing to celebrate!
There are SO MANY things to see and do around Disney World (and Disneyland) for the festive holiday — from a full-on St. Patrick’s Day Festival in Disney Springs to several NEW treats and eats all around Disney Resort hotels! Today we started the celebrations early and tried a new St. Patrick’s Day treat over at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. Is this one you should get during your next trip? Let’s find out!
The St. Patrick’s Day Hat Dessert over at Gasparilla Island Grill in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is quite the fun St. Patrick’s Day dessert!
For $7.99, you get this adorable treat which is made of a shortbread cookie topped with a hat made from Caramel-Irish Cream mousse and chocolate cake, covered in milk chocolate with a white chocolate ribbon and shamrock!
We’re going to need another clover 🍀😅

The cookie was super crispy and the mousse was VERY smooth! Just be warned: there is a lot of mousse, so if you don’t like the texture of mousse, you’ll probably want to skip this one!
The outer layer of chocolate on the hat was super thin and easy to bite into, so that was nice. The chocolate cake on the inside was incredibly moist, and overall the flavors of the mousse went well with the rich, chocolatey flavor. If you love chocolate, we have a feeling this is something you’ll enjoy!
Just be prepared to get a little messy when eating this one. It wasn’t on any kind of cardboard, so getting it out of its little plastic container was a bit of a messy mission! All in all, we enjoyed this petite pastry over at Gasparilla Island Grill. What do you think? Would this be a must-get for you? Tell us in the comments!
We’re keeping an eye out for more St. Patrick’s Day treats, so be sure to stay tuned to DFB for all of the latest updates!
