REVIEW: Disney World Released Another Cupcake — Only Frosting Fans Need Apply

It’s a rare day when we turn down a cupcake at Disney World… .

Granted, some are better than others, but we have fun trying them including some recent cupcakes like the S’Mores Cupcake, a Madame Leota Cupcake, an it’s a small world Cupcake, and more! We also love seeing what Disney World puts out for holidays, and with St. Patrick’s Day coming up soon, St. Patrick’s Day cupcakes are starting to appear all over the resort!

So we’re doing what we do — we’re trying them! Let’s head on over to Beach Club Marketplace at Disney’s Beach Club Resort to try the St. Patrick’s Cupcake there. This is a simple Vanilla Cupcake cored and filled with Vanilla Buttercream Frosting and topped with more Vanilla Buttercream Frosting and Festive Sprinkles. Oh, and it’s got Milk Chocolate Mickey Ears!

How can we not love a Mickey cupcake?

Although this cupcake seems simple, that’s what makes it so good. It’s just a classic delicious vanilla cupcake, although it has a LOT of frosting and WE ARE HERE FOR IT. In fact, this thing was so top-heavy, we were worried the frosting would just slide right off the cupcake while we were taking photos of it in the Florida humidity. (Okay, eventually, it did fall apart and some of it landed in the sand, and yes, we’re still sad about it).

Of course, there’s even MORE frosting on the inside, so yeah, this is for all you frosting fans out there.

MORE Frosting inside? YES!

So if you’re not into frosting and want more complex flavors from a cupcake, this might not be for you. But for us, it hit the spot. You can grab it for $6.29. We also saw it available at The Market at Ale & Compass at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort!
