Need a vacation? Don’t we all! 😉 Maybe a few days in the sun with a tropical drink in your hand and a wave from Captain Mickey is just what you need to feel refreshed and ready to take on the rest of 2022 (where did this beginning of the year go?!)! If this sounds like a dream to you, you might want to explore the possibility of setting sail with Disney Cruise Line!
Disney already has some ships out and about, sailing the seas and taking guests to unique destinations in various parts of the world. And soon it’ll have another ship — the Disney Wish — available for guests to enjoy. If you’re ready to take the leap and book a Disney Cruise Line trip, or you’ve got one scheduled and are hoping to book some Port Adventures or other activities, there’s an important update you need to know about.
Recently, Disney Cruise Line posted an update on their website about some things that will impact your ability to schedule a cruise or other activities soon. According to the warning that now appears on their site, from 4:30PM (EST) on March 7th, 2022 to the morning of March 9th, 2022, an update is going to be performed on the Disney Cruise Line reservation system.
During that time, guests won’t be able to make or access any Disney Cruise Line reservations online or through the contact center. Online check-in, and cruise activity and port adventure bookings also won’t be available during that time.
If you have a deposit or final payment due during that time, you’ll actually have until March 10th at 10PM EST to make that payment. The system should be back up and running March 9th, 2022, so you’ll then be able to do any other things necessary for your trip.
If you were planning on making any port adventure bookings during those days, you’ll want to try and make those reservations a bit earlier (if you can) or just be aware that you’ll have to wait until the system updates are done.
We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more Disney Cruise Line news and let you know what we find. Check back for all the latest updates! Until then, you’ll find us daydreaming about sitting near the pool on a Disney Cruise Line ship with an endless supply of soft serve ice cream!
