We have to say it: we MISS Fantasmic! Disney World has a LOT of great nighttime entertainment, like Harmonious, Enchantment, and the two firework/projection shows at Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Wonderful World of Animation and Disney Movie Magic), but none of those shows combine live entertainment, fireworks, and music quite like Fantasmic!
We LOVE nighttime shows!
While we wait for Fantasmic! to return, Disney has been offering two nighttime shows at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Now, it looks like some upcoming performances of the Wonderful World of Animation and Disney Movie Magic have been canceled!
If you’re planning to be in Disney’s Hollywood Studios between today (February 12th) and February 14th, you might not be able to catch a performance of Disney Movie Magic or Wonderful World of Animation on the Chinese Theater!
Disney Movie Magic is full of lights, music, and MOVIES!
Guests using the My Disney Experience app may notice that showtimes are no longer listed for either nighttime show at Hollywood Studios. On February 15th, though, it looks like the shows will return, according to the Disney World website.

Disney has not shared any information on the reason for these temporary cancelations, but we’ll keep our eyes and ears out for more information! For now, it looks like you’ll have to visit another park if you want a little late-night entertainment. (Or you could gather some laser pointers and a few flashlights and make your OWN nighttime spectacular😉 )

Every once in a while, Disney has canceled showtimes for these two projection shows, but they typically return later in the week/month! In the meantime, stay tuned for all the latest Disney news and updates.
