We’ve got a hot take that you need to hear: drinking a cocktail is automatically ten times better when you’re on the boardwalk. And we’re not talking about any old boardwalk, we’re talking about the Disney Boardwalk, located at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort (shocker!!). The Boardwalk Resort has a TON of places to choose from if you’re looking for a fancy lil drink, but if you’re looking for a quick ‘n’ easy drink to sip by the water, look no further than Boardwalk Joe’s.

Now that it’s February, we’re in for a real treat! A few new specialty drinks and treats have arrived at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort; let’s see what they’ve got!

Guests can celebrate Valentine’s Day with Boardwalk Joe’s NEW Cupid’s Cocktail!

Now we’re excited!

The Cupid’s Cocktail is made with Tito’s handmade vodka, Bols peach schnapps, cranberry juice, Minute Maid lemonade, and pure cane sugar, then garnished with a strawberry and cherry. As you can probably tell from that ingredient list, this is a sweet drink with lots of sugar!

Our drink was nice and strong, and the peach schnapps was the strongest flavor we tasted. The red sugar rim added a little extra sweetness, which went nicely with the tart cranberry and lemonade flavors. This is a flavorful little drink that manages to pack a punch!

We must admit, between the sweet flavor and the bright color of this cocktail, this drink would be the perfect thing to sip by the pool on a sunny day. Alas, that wasn’t in the cards for us today, but we really enjoyed this drink anyway! If you like sweet, sugary cocktails, you’ll probably like this drink.
