Ice Cream in Disneyland!

One of the best remedies to a hot Disney day is ice cream. Of course, you can get it Mickey-shaped in the parks, but sometimes we need to broaden our horizons. There’s a whole world of ice cream out there, and we can start at Salt and Straw. This Downtown Disney ice cream shop (which is getting a Disney Springs location later this year) serves up super unique ice cream creations, including bread flavor, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson holiday goodies. This month, they’re bringing back some of their most iconic flavors, and we have the inside scoop! (Get it, like a scoop of ice cream? Sorry, on with the post!)

Over 11 years, Salt and Straw has created over a thousand different ice cream flavors, and to celebrate that accomplishment, they’re releasing a vault collection of some of their most memorable flavors! Let’s go over them!

The Hunk-a Chunka PB&B is inspired by Elvis’s favorite flavors! It has a roasted banana ice cream base, marionberry jam, and peanut butter stracciatella. Oh, mama!

The Roasted Strawberry and Toasted White Chocolate ice cream has a toasted white chocolate ice cream base, and has raw strawberries mixed in.

The Ultimate “French” Vanilla ice cream has never actually been on the Salt and Straw Menu, but it’s a winner for sure. This custard base ice cream is made with every kind of vanilla the Salt and Straw team could get their hands on!

The Chocolate Caramel Potato Chip Cupcake ice cream. Yeah. Read that back and take it all in. This loaded ice cream has chocolate ganache, chocolate covered potato chips, and caramel. If you’re a fan of a salty/sweet combo, you’re gonna want to try this ice cream!

The last vault flavor is Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies and Cream! This flavor is vegan, and has homemade, vegan, gluten-free Oreos. This ice cream also has hazelnut butter, chocolate, and coconut cream.
