Being a Disney World Annual Passholder can come with its share of perks.
Those perks include free merchandise, discounts on Disney hotels, and even discounts on food! And now one more perk will soon return for passholders — the bonus reservations perk.
The bonus reservations perk allows Annual Passholders to make park pass reservations on select dates at select theme parks that do not count as a reservation hold (meaning it doesn’t count against the number of park pass reservations each specific pass is limited to). But with the parks being so busy over the holiday season, this perk hasn’t been available for a while — usually, the bonus reservation is for parks on dates where Disney expects lower crowd levels.
However, with the holidays coming to an end, that perk is about to return. According to Disney World’s park pass reservations calendar, Annual Passholders can make bonus reservations on January 5th for Disney’s Animal Kingdom and January 6th for EPCOT.
UPDATE: It appears more bonus dates have been added. We saw that bonus dates for January 9th, 11th, and 12th had been added when we checked an Annual Passholder at the Pirate Pass level. One individual with a Gold Level Annual Pass spotted 2 bonus dates on their availability calendar — one for January 11th (for Animal Kingdom) and one on January 12th (for Magic Kingdom).
So if you’re an Annual Passholder, be sure to check out your availability calendar for January 2022 to see what bonus park pass reservations are available for you.
ANOTHER UPDATE: More bonus reservation dates have been added! Today, we spotted 2 new bonus reservations that are available the week of January 17th! January 17th and 19th both have newly added bonus reservations!
On January 17th, you can make a bonus reservation at Magic Kingdom…
…and on Wednesday, January 19th, you can make a bonus reservation at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
We also want to point out that Annual Pass sales are still currently on hold for most passes, and we’re monitoring the situation and will let you know when they become available again. So stay tuned!
