Disney Very Merriest After Hours has officially begun!

The new holiday after-hours event in Magic Kingdom is filled with things to see and do, including a good dose of festive entertainment! The lineup for Very Merriest seems pretty exciting! Let’s take a look at what guests can check out this year.

Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks

While we missed out on Halloween-themed fireworks at Disney After Hours Boo Bash, this year DOES include the return of Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks! And that’s not all — if guests show up early enough, they can also catch a performance of Disney Enchantment, the new nighttime spectacular that debuted at the start of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration!

As time ticked closer to the start of Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, we heard an announcement throughout the park.

Maybe we are out here crying at our first holiday fireworks in too long, but who’s to say.

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

The holiday after-hours event in Magic Kingdom this year is bringing with it the return of full-length parades in Disney World!

We’ve seen many character cavalcades since the parks reopened in July of 2020, but starting tonight guests can once again enjoy Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade!

The parade features a lot of beloved characters like the princesses…

…with Fairy Godmother, of course.

Woody made an appearance with Jessie and a few elves.

And, Santa brought up the rear in his amazing sleigh!

Seeing a parade roll through Magic Kingdom again is certainly exciting!

Mickey & Minnie’s Very Merry Memories Stage Show

Disney Very Merriest After Hours also comes with a brand-new castle stage show called Mickey & Minnie’s Very Merry Memories!

It’s a “nod to classic Magic Kingdom holiday stage shows,” including “music, dancing, and nostalgic yuletide fun.”

We saw LOTS of familiar faces in this homage to Magic Kingdom holiday shows past.

Clarabelle even showed up to sing us a BEAUTIFUL (or moo-tiful) rendition of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”

Cinderella Castle looked extra festive during the show too with fun projections like these snowflakes.

The show certainly put a smile on our faces and got us excited to check out the rest of the party!

Snow on Main Street

Main Street, U.S.A. has a special addition to the festivities.

Disney’s snow is made from soap so fans affectionately call it “snoap!”

Snow can be seen on Main Street intermittently throughout the night.

Club Tinsel Dance Party

We spotted Winnie the Pooh and Tigger outside of Crystal Palace pretty early in the night.

They look like they’re cozily bundled up for the winter weather! And, of course, they were getting their groove on.
