PHOTOS: The Iconic Gingerbread House is Being Constructed at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort!

The resorts around Disney World get decked out for the holiday season, but Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa might just be one of the most beautiful.

From the stunning tree in the lobby to the rest of the holiday decor, this is one resort you’ll want to visit at least once during the holidays. And we haven’t even MENTIONED the grand gingerbread house the resort comes up with every year!

Last year’s holidays might have been pared back some, with NO gingerbread displays at the resorts, but the Grand Floridian did reveal a small gingerbread sculpture.

However, this year, the chefs at the resort are bringing back the big gingerbread house and we’ve got some photos of its construction!

The area is roped off and we spotted Cast Members actively working on the house. Look how much they’ve done already!

A closer look

We can’t wait to see what it looks like when it’s done. The gingerbread house at the Grand Floridian is set to open on November 10th. We’ll be there to take plenty of photos to share with you. Remember that other gingerbread displays will also be available in EPCOT and Disney’s Beach Club Resort soon.
