Disney Genie has debuted in Disney World and new portions in the My Disney Experience app have appeared in relation to the new service.
But, some of those changes initially altered the spot where guests could find their Park Pass reservations in the app and look at their future plans. Now, things have changed again and we’re sharing all the updates you need to know.
Previously, My Disney Experience had a section called “My Plans.” You can see that to the top right in the screenshot below. The “My Plans” section was particularly helpful as it would show you what parks you had Park Passes for, etc. to help you keep things organized (there’s a LOT to think about when it comes to a Disney World vacation).
On the day of Disney Genie’s launch, the My Disney Experience app changed, as shown in the screenshot below. You can see the Tip Board and “My Day” near the top, and a section about tickets and passes, but no “My Plans” section. Guests could still search for their park passes and plans in the app, but it required a bit more work than just going to the “My Plans” section.
Now, things have changed again! Currently, there is a newly named “Future Plans” section, which essentially serves the same function as the old “My Plans” section.
If you’re looking for this, open your My Disney Experience app, select the section to the bottom right (the one with the 3 horizontal lines), and look for the “Future Plans” section, under My Genie Day.
In “Future Plans” you can see the upcoming days you have park passes for and other future plans in one convenient spot.
We’ll be on the lookout for more updates to the My Disney Experience app and updates about Disney Genie, so stay tuned for more news.
