Only 4 Remain! Round 4 of the Ultimate 50th Anniversary Disney World Snacks Bracket

To find out, we’re holding the Ultimate 50th Anniversary Disney Snack Bracket Challenge. We asked our readers to decide between a LOT of 50th Anniversary eats and treats, voting for their favorites throughout the challenge. We’ve taken a look at rounds two and three already, so now let’s see what happened in round four!

To start out, we had the battle of the dome cakes! The chocolate-y Mickey Mouse Dome Cake from Gaston’s Tavern went up against the 50th Celebration Mickey Mouse Dome from Creature Comforts. In this case, the bright colors and more exciting theming won out, with the Celebration Dome beating out Gaston’s creation by 24%. Does it hurt that the Celebration Dome has a whole brownie as its base? Probably not.

The next match-up was quite a bit closer, with just a 16% margin. It was the 50th Celebration Spring Rolls from the Spring Roll Wagon against the Petit Stump Cake from Roaring Fork. In the end, the spring rolls won out with 58% of the votes! That makes these spring rolls the only savory snack left in the competition, up against a whole bunch of very sweet opponents.

The margins only got smaller from here, as we matched up the 50th Celebration Mickey Premium Bar from Drinkwallah against the 50th Celebration Petit Cake from Amorette’s Patisserie. Although the Mickey bar is an absolute classic, it couldn’t quite beat the amazing geode decorations on the petit cake. Amorette’s cake won by just 6% of the votes!

We saved the CLOSEST match-up for the end. It’s the Showtime with Jose from Aloha Isle against the Happy Haunts Milkshake from Columbia Harbour House. The donut-topped milkshake came close to winning, but Showtime with Jose ended up sealing its victory with just a 2% lead! Showtime with Jose has been a surprisingly strong contender, especially since it wasn’t even our reporter’s favorite 50th-themed drink at Aloha Isle.
