Water Outage at Disney’s Contemporary Resort Happening NOW

Disney’s Contemporary Resort has been undergoing a LOT of construction.

The Contemporary Resort has been under renovations to soon feature guest rooms themed by Disney and Pixar’s The Incredibles films, and we’ve recently seen promising progress on the construction. Still, some construction continues as guests staying at the hotel face a minor inconvenience today.

At Disney’s Contemporary Resort, there is a scheduled water outage today from 11AM to 2PM. Water will be unavailable in guests’ rooms at that time (that’s NOW, if you’re at the hotel and wondering why you can’t take a mid-day shower!), so if you’re a current guest, you might want to plan accordingly.

There’s a lot of reasons to visit the Contemporary now, as you can visit the new Steakhouse 71 restaurant or try the California Grill’s special 50th anniversary menu, or even watch the new Disney Enchantment fireworks show from the rooftop party.

If you’re staying at the Contemporary, you might want to wait to return to your room after 2PM if you were hoping to grab a shower. We’ll be watching closely for any developments in this situation.
